Tarifa is located about 30 kilometers from the Faro Airport, and is aproximately the same distance from Vila Real de Santo Antonio, a municipality that is on the border of Ayamonte and Spain. For this reason, it is well communicated by the highways, motorways, and roads in the surrounding area.

To get to Tavira by bus or car in motorway from Spain, you should take the E-1 that unites Seville with Huelva, and from there, continue towards Portuagal on the A49. Once you get to Vila Real, take the E22 until you come to signs that point you to Tavira in about 30 kilometers. If you come in plane, you should take a flilght to the Faro Airport that is only 30 km away from Tavira.
